Pitt Annual Slovak Heritage Festival

The University of Pittsburgh's annual Slovak Heritage Festival will be held this Sunday, November 1, 2009 from 1-5 p.m. at the University of Pittsburgh Cathedral of Learning.  The event features food, music, lectures and a vendor area and is free and open to the public.

I have been a lecturer at this event for many years, and this year my talk will focus on the historical importance of Slovak women immigrants.
